As part of BT Wholesales' Broadband access offering, there are a small number of exchanges which have Broadband enabled as part of the Broadband Activate programme. This allows us to provide fixed rate ADSL broadband services (up to 512k) to a number of remote communities as part of joint funding with Regional governments or authorities.
These exchanges each have a limited capacity for service and can only be ordered as a 512k 20C service. To order broadband on one of these exchanges, please raise a normal order for 20C 512k service through the normal systems. If capacity exists the order will progress as normal, although due to the remoteness of many sites the actual lead time may be extended. Please check for confirmed delivery dates.
If the site is full, the order will be rejected. Service will only be provided if an existing service on that exchange is cease.
